Canoga Perkins Ethernet Media Converters terminates and optically extends 10 Mbps Ethernet and 100Mbps. These SNMP Managed Media Converters re-clocks the Ethernet signals, eliminating signal degradation common with lower quality Media Converters. This regeneration is especially important as you approach the distance limit of the optics. Better signals mean fewer errors and higher link availability, increased customer satisfaction and greater revenues. Chassis and stand alone enclosure mounting of the Media Converters allows use of the same module in both Central Office/POP Site and customer locations.
